The Council Bluffs Office will be closed on January 23rd, due to extreme temperatures

The Red Oak Office will be closed on January 23rd, due to extreme temperatures.

The Missouri Valley Office will be closed on January 23rd, due to extreme temperatures.

As part of the Statewide System for Vision Services, Iowa’s AEAs partner with the Iowa Department of Education, Iowa Department for the Blind, and Iowa Educational Services for the Blind and Visually Impaired to provide vision services to students who are blind or visually impaired.

Vision Specialists, teachers of the visually impaired and orientation and mobility specialists, provide instruction in the Expanded Core Curriculum (ECC), a body of knowledge and skills that are required by students with visual impairments due to their unique disability-specific needs.
