Parent & Educator Connection Are you the parent, family member, or caregiver of a child with special needs? The Parent & Educator Connection (PEC) is a free program promoting partnerships between families and schools in order to provide the best educational opportunities for children with special needs. The PEC provides individualized services for both parents and educators, access to multiple resources, including a library, knowledge-empowerment activities, workshops and training, as well as parent support group/mentoring referrals. This program is part of a statewide network and is staffed by two Parent Coordinators who are the parents of a child with special needs, and an Educator.
